The starting point of any house is a solid foundation. In homes designs or floorplans that offer basements, we pour concrete and install energy-saving insulation, a moisture prevention system, and a drainage system. With a solid foundation, we will provide excellent structural support for your home.

Your home will take shape from the bottom floor panels and walls up to the roof frame. Once framed, we’ll install roof shingles, exterior doors, and windows.

All the rough mechanical items such as the HVAC heating and cooling ducts will be installed once your new construction home is framed. The plumbing lines; the wiring for electrical outlets, smoke detectors, telephone, and cable lines are also added. Anything that is put into the walls or floors and covered later by drywall will get added in at this stage.

After the inspection of your home’s rough mechanical items, the insulation and drywall will be installed. 

The trim and exterior finishes come next, followed by the yard and finishing your mechanical items, including your new toilets, sinks and faucets, cabinets and countertops, floor registers, light switches and fixtures, and outlet plugs, and flooring.

We believe that outdoor living spaces are just as important as indoor ones. We can create custom outdoor kitchens, fire pits, pools, and other features that will allow you to enjoy your backyard year-round.

The Certificate of Occupancy is the next important step. Once it is received and the final details are in place, The West Group Project Manager will run you through every aspect of your home with a walkthrough going over every inch of your home.
